Laura Kammin is an Outreach Program Leader at Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant College Program. As program leader, Laura oversees the development, expansion, and delivery of science-based programs that help communities make informed choices when it comes to managing their natural resources. She helps connect specialists and scientists, as well as enhances the partnerships among IISG, Prairie Research Institute, Illinois Extension, and Purdue Extension.
Before joining IISG, Laura worked for Prairie Rivers Network, a nonprofit that works to protect rivers and streams in Illinois. She has also held positions at the University of Illinois Office of Sustainability, University of Illinois Extension, and Illinois Natural History Survey. Laura received a B.S. in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences and an M.S. in Wildlife Ecology from the University of Illinois.
